Fragments of Us

by Ariel Rodriguez

Fragments of Us is a collection that reflects the human instinct to hold onto traces of lived experience. The works are inspired by objects and marks that might otherwise be overlooked: etchings on the walls of old buildings, a folded note kept long after its purpose has ended, quiet remnants that serve as proof of presence. Though insignificant to some, these fragments are kept because they carry memory, emotion, and evidence that someone was here and that they existed. Together, the collection honors these subtle remnants as anchors to our shared humanity, preserving what might otherwise be lost to time.
